Well I took the old girl out of her winter sleep today (1950 Model 20) drained the sump refreshed the oil tank and away she went on the Third kick and sounded as sweet as ever. Going to get her cleaned up and polished ready for the seasons shenanigan's

Haha, shenanigans, I like that! I put my M20 away with fresh oil before christmas and have started up a couple of time "just to check" it still works (my kicking leg, obviously) and all is well. Might be a while before the salt crust washes off the roads though.

What a cracking day for an early morning run out in the countryside on the old Model 20, a nice relaxed 70 mile round trip seen 3 Deer along with all the other normal wildlife along the way

Hi Shifter.

Nice bike and lovely countryside.

Did you fit the rear carrier yourself? It looks more robust that the type available from Club spares as it has a third mounting point and the Club one only has two and no matter how tight the four mounting bolts are on the mudguard stays, it still tends to rock from front to back.

I use the rear carrier mounted on the 4 bolts. It's solid as a rock. The carrier firmly clamped against the flats, between the grab handle and guard.

Yes that is how mine is fitted Rob but it still moves even with the bolts tightened as far as I dare without shearing them off.

Thanks I will have a look. The one I have may be ok for waterproofs but I think it will struggle with a top box fitted.

Hi Shifter

I could not find your carrier on ebay, can you remember the seller?
