Looks like quite a modern rear lamp Rob, x head screws not 60's. CSR would have had this. Looks like you have found the lamp fitted, surprised to see its a Miller.

Screws are Phillips pattern, (not Pozidriv), so contemporary with the 60's

Thanks Mick, you've nailed it. I'm not sure if this is original, but I have seen the same lamp in a photo of a similar year CSR , maybe it was fitted to export models.

Roh H, does you G12 have the lamp you showed? Maybe I should change the whole lamp fitting to get back to original.

My G12CSR is a bit later than yours Rob. The rear lamp I have is the same as the picture I posted. Which is from the Lucas 1962 AMC parts list. So shows the Lucas pt. no. Can't find a pic of my G12 CSR showing the lamp, above pic is the bike.

Rob, the picture that Rob posted for the 529 was the lamp fitted to all CS CSR's as far back as 55 so I'd suggest that your's has more than likely been changed at some point. Rob
