Unless you really want a pre war bike, a post war model would be a reliable mount with a reasonably good supply of spare parts.

Someone will know this year better than myself. Horrible looking non standard exhaust system.

Agree with Rob and comparing what I see to my old '60 G3, it should have a folding kickstart, and the cover behind the cylinder is missing.
