I have just bought a model 14 in boxes and would like to know what instrumentation should be in the h/lamp shell. Also should it be chrome or is that down to model type?

From someone who knows virtually nothing, I'll suggest an ammeter and the two switches, the same as my 1961 G2.

hi, on my 1959 g2 the headlamp shell has the ammeter in the centre, ignition switch on the left and light switch on the right. i think chrome h/lamp shell was only fitted on certain models.
the owners manual can be down loaded from the yahoo groups ajs/matchless site.
