Torpedo sidelights

Post by FerG3 »

Seems a daft question, but my '55 G80 has nice torpedo sidelights - but they are not wired up and I can't see how you get into the blighters. Do the lenses pry or screw off? They have resisted this but I have been fairly gentle - don't want to damage them. Ferg.

There is a screw in the pointy end that holds the whole lot in.

No, chaincases are tin. I know this. I have a tin hat and it is about as useful as the chaincase.

Well, he managed to have a dig about 'tin', thought we might have had an update on the elusive screw.
