350 or 500 cc ?

Who can say if this motor bike is 350 or 500 cc?
(and possibly the model and year)

Judging from the fatness of cylinder I would say 350cc!?

looks very like a WD G3l from wartime era or maybe 45/6, judging from the Paris registration ;most likely war surplus so its had an eventful history

I am no expert but I would say the barrel looks 350 size so G3l, also I have a book that says the chrome "m" on the tank appeared 1947 and the pipe went under the foot rest instead of over in the same year.

I love books of info like that; the chrome M goes back to 1935/6 at least.
wonder if the authors of these books do any research.?
