Hi All, my experience to date has been with pre-55 machines, so I have no experience of the later 1 1/4 forks - I now have a pair that I wish to renovate. I have no idea what year they are; did they change over the years or did they stay the same? I have been looking at a 1955 parts list, is this valid for all 1 1/4 forks? Cheers, Andy

I'm pretty sure the internals remained constant - there was a washer on the top yoke bearing adjuster which was discontinued in latter years.

I can't ever remember seeing a washer under the centre adjuster nut.
