does anyone know if this nut will fit a 3/8 cylinder stud on a 67 csr thanks in advance Ken

Well it is a 3/8" 26 TPI double hex cylinder base nut. You will need to check your parts list to make sure it is correct for your bike. This part has been in use since the pre war era when it was old pt. no. STD 217

According to the parts list, 000217 was used from 1964 0n twins.
