I've just looked my old bike up on the DVLA site and found that it's still about!.
The chap I sold it to (about 1980) ran it with no oil I.I.R.C and sold it on to a classic bike breaker here in Bristol and so I presumed it was no more. So great to hear it's not been scrapped and please get in touch if you know of it.
