Have we already played spot the difference with this one, other than the crankcase and possibly gearbox what other parts are 1947?

Have the footrest been positioned for someone with very little feet?

Gear lever also in strange position, think you'd need to be riding from pillion position to be able to change up.

Both footrest are fitted forward, rear brake lever foot pad only just in front of the footrest.

Was just trying to work out how you could put your feet on the footrests without applying the rear brake at the same time Rob

Isn't that a silencer for a later bike - a Twin?
My previously one-owner '47 Model 18 had the one piece outer chaincase without the removable clutch dome.

He shows date of first reg 4/11/1935. Should it be 4/11/1953??

Oh, and on the DVLA computer it says it's a G80L, first registered 2002.... :?

The seller says:
The Carb is Leaking And The Chain Case Is Leaking ; The Kick Start Gets Stuck ,Now And Then .. All Easy Fixes , That We Haven't Got Time To Sort , As Too Busy !
We Have Recently Rebuilt The Top End ; Rebored + New Piston .
It Runs , But Is Hard To Start ...

Probably not the last we'll hear of this bike

The engine number is 47/G80L..

re reg date 2002. With GAS number which was used post 1995 as age related. V5 should show declared manufactured ???
Don't know if it is photo angle. But one side the Jampot is upright, the other appears slightly inclined forward at the top.

Someone has worked hard to make a bike up from the parts they had to hand, to me that is a perfect legitimate thing to do, I do feel a trader should know this and be advertising it as such.
