Easier to assist if you give the year of the machine as it's then a question of just looking it up at http://archives.jampot.dk/Book/Spares_lists/

Surely this is in the parts list for the bike, pt. no. at least. What year would the bike be? I will check. Is there another nut on the bike that fits this stud, if so where was it fitted. then look up that part number & size. If it has a number stating with 3 zero's but size not shown, I can tell you the size and where to find the size, for future reference of finding sizes. Need more info year also what seat you have fitted, I think it should be dual seat.

It would seem that the part number is 000292 but not listed as a stock item at Kettering but they do stock the stud 023250 Can you give the size from that part number Rob as that would be a great help Daz

I would have thought it to be 26 tpi cycle thread. 023250 seems to be another part not used on earlier models.

Listed by the club Roy but stocks limited. its 5/8" I see this is a half nut, so a bit special.

If it's a 1959/60 model it'll be 5/8" Cycle thread 20TPI.
