Hi
Wheel building is pretty easy if you are methodical in your approach, quite a few threads on here relevant to it, also some good info on the web - I've done four wheels now and am very happy with the results.
I costed re-chroming and found it to be only marginally cheaper to Devon Rim Company's 'Roltru' polished stainless steel rims so I've always used those.
The recovery process when re-chroming will more than likely remove virtually all original makers marks from the rims too.
Regards Mick

Its difficult to get rims re-chromed. A new set from Devon rims every time, but they are getting expensive, but they are round and true. I cant say that for the equivalents i have tried. It makes a significant difference if you start with something good!
