Has anyone taken a lightweight hub apart - How was the Aluminium finned centre fitted?

I think the whole hub and center, with the crinkle aluminium center is permanently fixed together. I cleaned mine up using a wire wheel and not dwelling in any one place for too long. Dont press to hard either. Job was a good'un
