New Carb?

What is the current perceived wisdom on the latest Monobloc Carbs from Burlen?

I've heard conflicting reports, but none of which have been from anyone who has actually purchased a brand new one. The tales I get are that the material htese new carbs are made from is inferior to the original (which in itself was never considered "High Quality")

People have told me to get my current one re-sleeved instead. Has anyone bought a new one? What was their experience?

After my 16MS blow up in May, I have finally managed to get my bottom end to Malcolm Saggers (hurrah - now there a guy who does know what he's talking about), who is extraodinarily busy, so it looks like it will be spring before mini beast is up and running again. Strangely ready for the rally which it blew up on last year!! oooer - does lightning strike twice in the same place?
