It seems the collar has loosend, If you do not have a new collar and tool to crimp it, use a jubilee clip.

Just had another go at pushing the hose on a bit further onto the stub and I have noticed a 1/2" long split in the hose near the base of the stub. I am hoping that this is where a lot of leaking has come from in the past but maybe I have just caused it
I have put self amalgamating tape round the hose as temporary cure as the oil supply is not under pressure. Worth a try?
The oil tank stub is 1/2" did. Does the bike take that bore size hose or smaller?
Get a new pipe suitable for oil, fit with jubilee clips is the simple answer.
