Just had an email from OldTimer replying to my saying it was not a direct replacement for E3N ..
They said "you bought the wrong one", and named the one I should have bought.
Yes, ok , was my own fault .. should have asked which unit I needed, but ordered from page on their site
and, seeing the illustration showed a gear drive, queried whether they had a sprocket driven version for the AJS .. they said too many variations and that I should use my existing drive ..
Moral .. assume nothing .. be absolutely sure what you order is what you want ..
