Still don't understand why the button can't be pressed on the lecky version. Can't see why this makes a difference to those who prefer snail mail.

I believe it's on account of the ads, Spooky, so that the (U.K.) paper subscribers can see them at the same time as the leccy ones.

P.S. My Jampot mag arrived this p.m.

This has been explained before when Eamonn the web master gets his copy in the post he pushes the button
to release the digital version. The reason for a delay this month is my doing and nothing to do with the Editor and I am still waiting.

Spookefoote stop grumbling and look at the ads on line, they are all the same, and you will even get the ones that were placed after the closing date of 14th December for the January Jampot.

Actually it raises the question why we delay the digital mag since I do not remember the last time someone asked for their ad not to appear on the website til after the publication of the magazine, we are probably talking about 5 or 6 years ago. All digital members will be able to access the website version of the ads as soon as they are placed.

I've suggested this before and probably will again

As all members can have access to the Forum, why not publish the E version on the first of the month, then any one who wanted access to Jampot would have it at the same time. Folk can choose to wait for the paper copy if they want or access online. The current process means online subscribers are always viewing after some paper subscribers.
