timing my M16 350cc 1956

Hi, my 1956 AJS m16 350cc, is running rough, lots of white smoke, need to set the timing up, can anyone give me any advice and the timing settings please? thanks Phil

Think you should have an S R. mag. no AR lever on SR mag so you need to jam open fully advanced the AR unit.
