The dogs on the end of the gear are worn. Can anyone suggest a solution?

+1. Don't even think of fitting worn bits back into a gear box, it will only mean that you end up doing the whole rebuild a second time. A bit of pain now is better than a lot of pain down the road.

Les at Russels still have some new gears in stock or they can help with good parts from boxes they have stripped for parts. Also you could try Steve at AMC Classic Spares and Draganfly Motorcycles.
