Job done! Had to make a tool up to tighten the cup nuts down which took a bit of time but done the job just right.

Having told you to do that to stop the clutch slipping Stephen, don't forget to re adjust the springs. Better still give the plates a clean while you have it stripped down, just in case you find the clutch is still slipping when starting and riding.

Hi Rob,

Thank you. The clutch needs a complete overhaul and new friction plates as it's been laid up for several years and a bit neglected. I'll certainly remember to adjust it correctly when reassembly comes around.

Many thanks Pharisee. I used my air impact gun on the crankshaft nut & on the clutch hub nut, both came off no problem.
