I just purchased a 500, reg no NHA 480.
Would be great if anyone can give me any history on this bike, especially from the iom?

NHA 480 was a 1950 Smethwick reg. no. ( Not I of M. ) That changed to Birmingham ( Dudley )

My 49 G80S may have known your AJS - its NHA458 and came from Copes of Smethwick in early 1950. Spookily close If you google them there are pictures of the dealership out there.
