I recently removed the 1/4 BSP drain plug and found most of the aluminium crankcase thread came with it. I must have overtightened it last time. -- aaaaggh!
Don't want to remove the engine at this time to do a proper repair so wondered if anyone could recommend their experience with using epoxies like JB Weld, Jenolite, or Araldite ?
Need to get out before the summer ends.

I've used JB Weld and once fully set you'd have a sod of a job moving it.
