Sad news indeed. He will leave a large gap in the prewar area of knowledge. RIP Rob and condolences to all the family.

Very sad news indeed although we knew that he had been quite poorly for some time it's still a shock and all that pre war knowledge just gone. Rest in piece Rob, you was a true servant to our club.

Such a sad loss. Rob was a real gentleman and club stalwart with encyclopaedic pre-war knowledge and a tireless contributor of help and documentation to the club, the Forums and the Archives.
