This is very sad news, he was a stalwart of the club and will be greatly missed. My deepest condolences to Jan and Kerry. Andy

So sorry to catch up with this news. A real character and supporter of the club who will be greatly missed. Condolences to Jan and Kerry.

Aa I prepare for the Alternative '23 I can't help but remember Rob and Jan and their Disco doing a great job at the first Bishop Auckland Rally in 2011. Now that was a full on rally evening old skool style, thanks Rob!

Very sad news, Rob was the one member who helped if he could, his knowledge is a sad loss to the club…

So sad to hear of Rob’s demise, he always showed patience and kindness during my stint as Exhibitions Officer. RIP Rob, see you on the other side

Hi all just an update in case any one would like to attend see details below.

Rob's funeral, but it will be at Parndon Wood crematorium 12th October at 4.30pm, with a wake at the New Inn Roydon (with live music) 5.30pm onwards.

I only heard this news at the Bishop Auckland Autumn/Alternative Rally.

I can only echo what others have said. My personal fond memory was North Weald. I was close to one of the unpleasant events there but the makeshift band assembled by Rob was a joy.

To quote Jimi Hendrix, "If I don't see you no more in this world, I'll meet you in the next one, don't be late!"
