The new 250 A.J.S.

Post by alanjennings »

One year has passed and still no sign of the 250? I wonder if it has gone the same way as the 400?

Not quite, the delay has been caused by the fact that once measured the CC was found to be 251 or 252, can't remember the exact figure. I can ask Megan exactly where the project is when we're at the NEC .

Yes please. I'd be interested to know. I liked the look of the one on show last year but it's all gone quiet since.

Because the manufacturers realise that very few go off road and many are only used in dry weather ?

Handling, the big mudguards are massive wind breaks. Not that I ever worry about it.

What is the engine a "copy" of?

Seems mad to have the cc out. Edited to remove idiocy

What would the power output be?

Seems made to have the cc out. I know it would be a faff but surely a very very small plate under the barrel would lose the extra cc's. Or do I simply not understand how they're put together?

What would the po9wer output be?

Is it not the 'swept volume of the piston(s) ? ie bore x stroke that defines the cc of an engine ?
