Obituary Bryan Williams

Post by clive »

Bryan Williams (02/04/43-06/11/2023)
Bryan bought his Matchless G9 for £30 in 1964 and remained a keen motorcyclist all his life. Many will remember the twin tugging an immaculately restored RAC patrol sidecar in later years.
A founder member of the West London Section, Bryan contributed generously to bar takings at rallies both home and abroad, rarely missing a Jampot, International or Alternative. A very clever engineer, Bryan was generous with his time and knowledge. Never one to refuse a challenge and always happy to be led astray, life will be a little less exciting without him.

Veeva, his wife, and David his long term friend's words. My friendship with Bryan was relatively more recent but I benefited from his engineering skills and home made special tools on rebuilds of a number of my bikes, (not to mention sharing bottles of whisky at the rallies).
