One of the marvels of the 1960`s was that they invented the mini skirt before they invented tights, thus one always, as a gent, sent the mini skirts upstairs on the bus first
I can even remember the rare but entertaining sight of a mini and stockings
Then someone came out with the topless, any one remember those? while I was working in a hole in the ground in Piccadilly one brave lass was spotted with one, I doubt she wore it the day after.....
some lasses would forget they were wearing a mini, and one traffic hazard was a window dresser in the Kings road who used to bend from the waist while working.........
wonderful days, I also spotted a guy walking in a sailor suit with" kiss my " written large on the seat of his trousers.
I hope it was for a bet

I think the conversion starts with one nine six some thing or other. If you are too old or too young you tend to miss it.
