there is a world of difference between a cheap bodge and mechanical expediency in order to keep something running.

bodged mechanics+roadworthy=oxymoron

As much as I would love to get one right now, I'm afraid I'll have to wait and sweet-talk the other half ... and that'll take a little time ... probably 2009
In the meantime I would be interested to know what you have to offer
TIA
Ian

Earlier in this posting I mentioned an Ebay ongoing sale for a G80,It had read quite well but I hadn't really studied the pics',but as the bidding rose and rose I decided to have a closer inspection of this "low mileage, very original machine".Very last picture was a close up of the crankcase and engine stampings....53M16 ^63*...now as the 'bike is supposed to be 4000 odd miles! Is supposed to be a Matchie, and supposed to be very original,no way,Jose. But here's the killer........wait for it....sit down and take a deep breath......get your polish and dusters and V5's out........sale price.....£3925!!!!!!!!EH????!!!!I DON'T BELEIVE IT!!
Hard work never killed anyone.....but why take the risk?
