The VMCC makes the following urgent request for help on behalf of one of its most long standing members.

On the night of Sunday 6th of April 2008 nineteen Veteran & Vintage Motorcycles were stolen from the West Gloucestershire home of VMCC Member Mrs Joyce Cobbing.

Please find below a full list of the stolen machines-

1923 Zenith-JAP, 680cc. V-Twin. Fuel tank missing. Reg. KH4513
1924 Calthorpe. Reg. PH569.
1925 Velocette,EL, Ladies Model, 3-Speed. Reg BC8928
1926 Moto Guzzi, 500cc. Reg. KC9654

Someone MUST have seen something for that many to be taken. It makes me mad just to think about it.

Would think they are in a container now going abroad,would not think there would be a market in U.K or I would hope not.

From personal experience i don't think they'll be seen again.As for Plod,don't expect much action from that direction.
I may be proved wrong,hopefully,but i've never seen my bike again.
Thankfully the insurance company did'nt have a problem paying out.

Sorry to hear about the bikes, if there is no objections i will put the bikes and contacts on our www.trialsireland.com in Ireland, some of the members are veteran bike enthusiasts.

What a world we are living in !!
