reproduction smiths speedo

Post by HALL »

Hope someone can help me locate a retailer for a repro Smiths speedo. I know they are out there somewhere but despite looking on the net I cannot find any clue who sells them. I want one to fit in a 1958 G80 headlight unit. Any help would be great.
cheers Charlie

Chronometric speedos are available from David Woods, located near Chichester, Sussex, UK.
He has a good range for all makes, and will overhaul your speedo or rev counter. Highly recommended.

Hi Dick, followed your link for David Woods but there dosent appear to be an address or phone number on his sight.Have you any contact details? I have a speedo on my 350 Hack that doesent work and Im looking for someone to get it going rather than a full restoration. This guy seems to fit the bill if only I can contact him.

Keith

Top right hand corner and click the "Contact Us" button, all will be revealed.

If it is within your range, you can normally find him at Kempton inside the first building, but I am not sure if he visits any other shows.

All the repos I've been able to find are the 120 mph ones.
Anyone seen any 85mph ones....and have a link to it ?
