350 HW wiring

HI, unfortunately, the 59 350 came from the factory as 6v, with the switched coils set up for the lighting side. My father has a 59 350, which we converted to 12v about 10 years back, using a new rectifier and a zener. The standard factory wiring diagram wont show the zener mod, and it depends on how nicely its been done. Are you looking for a '6v to 12v modded' wiring diagram?
Regards KK
Top tip - if it needs more than 2 bolts to hold it on, its probably important...

Hi
I converted my 350 to 12 volts and also changed to capacitor ignition if you look in the archives at
http://www.mc-albion.dk/AMC/Technical/E ... v_gear.pdf That is the lucas service manual which shows various wiring diagrams.
I can recomend going to capacitor ignition as it does not need the battery to run and you still have lights but flickery.
