51 G80 rear wheel spacing.

51 G80 rear wheel spacing.
I am in the process of putting the back wheel into the bike following a full strip of lock nuts etc. What stops the speedo drive from turning when it is on the spindle.

The speedometer drive gearbox securing nut (No. 12) must only be tightened AFTER the axle nuts are tightened.

....and the sectioned rear axle photograph answers the question, showing, and describing the lock nut!
Which is the same as on my 1951 machine!
