I can,t send you picture rightnow, because i,m offshore for 14 days.
Rockers look,s different on the new one, it,s look like a straight line going across the rocker, and make it a stronger rocker?

i have no picture of the rocker.s on my bike,maybe they new one will fit ?

I thought the earlier rockers were shorter.

Secend-hand rockers from AMC classic who has the right parts number is sent from England today, maybe i can take a ride in september.

Hi Skorstad.

It's not obvious that the rocker is bent judging by the photo, and anyway the rocker itself is not the problem. Something did make it to bend.

I would check the valve timing first. Suggest also that you check the valve springs, that they are not coil-bound at full lift.

Hi Michael.

I will check the valve timing /valve springs when i got the top back from Oslo Maskinteknikk.

The only difference I can see btn the two rockers in the photo is that the new one has no INDENT on the working face, unlike the old one which clearly has an INDENT. Is SKORSTAD confusing the words indent and bendt,

It would be interesting to see how the rocker bears on the valve stem when fitted; does it oscillate freely on the spindle?
Locked
