Hi,

It's an air lever - for cold starts, push the lever all the way forward (viewpoint sitting on bike). Pull the lever all the way back towards you after the bike starts and for normal running.

I suggest you get a copy of the owner's manual - it's available here:

http://archives.jampot.dk/Book/Owners_m ... Manual.pdf

Enjoy the G2 - I have a G5 (350cc version) which is fun though it sometimes tries my patience!

Indeed I am, licensed 28 years next month, active on most bands using a proper Morse key too! Restoring radios is much easier than mollycoddling Lightweights!

I used to have contacts through G3UZJ and GW3YHR
many moons ago; fascinating hobby !
Ref. the choke lever, beware former owners having fitted an advace / retard lever in replacement, when the starting position is then reversed (I have seen this )!!
