Hi I bought an AJS twin 600cc some 30 years ago it is sold new here in Sweden and sold as an AJS america deluxe ? I got alot of parts whit the bike and wonder about the heads ,what is the different between heads whit two rocker studs and heads whit four rocker studs?

The 2 bolt fixings came out in 1953 and used from then on for 500, 600 & 650, if you have heads and covers with 4 bolt fixings they are from a 500 twin pre 1953.

Ok thanks I have sets of both heads, The heads that was on the motor when I buy it has four bolts,I plan to make a set ready for unleaded fuel is there any advantage to use the two bolt heads?
