Hi
I am having problems getting oil to the top end of a 61 350 G5.The oil pump plunger in the bike has a G2 stamped in the end of it. The guide pin is worn as well, can someone help out with how to identify what plunger should be in this model please?
Cheers Wayne.

I had the same problem on my G2. The feed to the rockers is via the small hole in the plunger and if your pin is at all worn it won't line up enough to pump the oil.
The good news is just a change of pin fixed it.

Hi there Butch........the part you need is
010079 GUIDE SCREW PIN
010138 GUIDE SCREW
I think all oil pumps on lightweights are the same if you want to change the oil pump shaft the part number is 042104 OIL PUMP SHAFT
Dont forget to change the o rings as well, I bought a Paynes gasket set on ebay and they were in there, not sure if they are in the JSL gasket set, also make sure all oilways are clear, that silicone stuff gets everywhere, air blast is best for this.
