Distance sleeve for valve spring cup - G3L

I am reassembling the valve gear for my 1944 G3L and there is listed a distance piece for valve spring cup # DF-39-8-E191.
As there is only one listed to which valve is it fitted and where?
Does it go under the collet cup or at the base of the inner spring?
