Hi guys can anyone tell me the size copper pipe i need to make up my fuel lines,1/4 or 5/16 or metric ?. 1937 250cc sidevalve, Many thanks Barny

Its just an educated guess the fuel lines should be 1/4" or perhaps even less but definitely not 5/16" or metric.

Not checked the size for you, but heres a tip for all on bending copper.
Fill the pipe with water, plug each end, place in the freezer. When the wife is not looking.
Why not first get the correct fixings to go on the pipe then go out and get pipe that fits. You need the correct fittings, but you dont want incorrect pipe.

opps forgot to add, When the wifes not looking, take the frozen pipe out of the freezer and bend it.
Dont blame me if she catches you.

Tell her she must had knocked the pipe off defrosting the freezer, but not to worry you'll fix it.
