With the tank off (14CSR) and handlebars on I am refitting the carb' when I see the hole in the front tank mount ... why is it there? Fed carb' cables through, it seems to work, keeps them out of the way, nice smooth path through the head steady mount too ... is this what the makers intended?
Thanks

Only my opinion.........the hole is for location peg in 2nd op press tool for forming the bracket after piercing and blanking first op. I didnt use the hole for routing but if you are happy with it, use it, it may be there for that very reason

That sounds more likely, a happy coincidence?
Thanks
