Hi
I have G5 and I changed the rear sprocket to a 52 teeth, the bike pulls this gearing without a problem and makes a nicer bike to ride

as a 19 year old i have had all too much experience of 50cc chinese mopeds. and believe me, my lightweight's gearing is infinitely better.

I've not had any issues with lack of power, even with a pillion passenger up a 1 in 5 grad . . . in 4th!!!

Have you got it back on the road yet, Justin?

My Model 8 with standard gearing will cruise fairly happily between 45-55 MPH with my 6ft 8ins/275 Lbs and world's largest Craven topbox perched on it, sitting upright, and will take any hill I have come across. I will need to invest in a new rear sprocket soon though, but I see the Spares Scheme doesn't list them, so will probably have to get one made.

I have the standard rear sprocket and a 20 tooth gearbox sprocket and I think that is just about right now. Gives a much more relaxed ride at 50 mph and 1st gear can be used properly now
