Terrible trouble 2 up. Wifes boots & silencer grounds too easily.
She won't go on it now. I know these ain't sports bikes, but it is a bit bad.
Jampot suspension.
Everyone else have this problem?

Silencer should'nt ground. Jampots must be very weak, 350x 19" tyre a bit hard might help, if you've only got 3.25 fitted.
Raise the seat up a bit on the front fixing slots, loosen off silencer and pipe to see if that will lift up a bit.

Fit some sidecar springs.

would agree about the sidecar springs. two up especially if carrying anything on the rear carrier sems to bottom out the usual springs. However boots and silencer grounding suggest you are cornering too fast or the silencer is not fitted correctly!

Do you have 19" wheels fitted or has the bike been converted to 18" to lower the saddle height?
