Arrh, its a front mudguard used as a rear in both pics...hmm.. not good that for me. No brakes on front could be for real for flat tracker authenticity. Mikuni in first pic, Amal in second.
What tyres do you reckon they are....they look like Dunlop K70's to me.
It seems like tyres are going to be my big problem....well getting them from the UK anyway. 19" Dunlop k70's or Pirelli MT53's.Edited by - z1100r on 07 Feb 2012 10:55:48 AM

I think its going to have to be 18" dia and wider rims for the balloon chunky effect I'm after.

400x18 are easy to get. You probably can't go much wider without changing the yokes .....oh no !! What have I said now?

The tires look like MT53s to me. Had a set on my Ducati 450SCR. They are NLA but there are Chinese knock offs if you are so inclined.
The shouldered rims are interesting as well. Excel does a nice alloy version that can be had for not too much.

Thats a great tyre place - if you live in the US.
Trouble is postage and tyres cost the same. I just got a quote for a 4.00x19 (rear) and a 350x19(front) and it was $278 (not bad) but $250 for postage is a bit of a pisser.
I think I'll continue to check out what I can find here first...thanks for link though.

Any one got a pair of bottom frame rails with no rear foot rest extension. I dont particularly want to cut the extensions off of mine.
If not I'll make some (or cut mine off carefully so the can be welded back on). Depends whats involved.
Still struggling with tyres..cant decide on Rims untill I get the right tyres. Went back to Coker tire site and they are out of stock for the ones I want with no definate time for new stock.
