Hi All,
Got some new relined brake shoes for my 1949, 18 rigid and having trouble getting them to go into the drums, tried removing the washers under the round cam contacts, but still too tight, any ideas or tricks.Very happy at the moment though ,after a full rebuild, she started and ran last night, after only a few kicks. Any info on the brake shoes,

New relined brake shoes
Look for a brake shop that will radius the shoes to fit. It is a good practice whenever fitting relined brakes & gives good effect immediately. Cheers, Don.
