Horn mounting

Also anyone,
What is the arrangement for mounting the horn on my 1949 18 rigid?
I have the dynamo cover plate and the two "L" shaped brackets,
(one with nut fixed to it), but putting it together, I would think the horn should have a straight braket on it ,not the "L" shaped mount which it has? any help greatly apprciated.
