I have looked at the small technical notes re these advanced forks.
Can I change the fork ball bearings in the headset without these wonderful fork compressors,if so what will release the legs from the upper yoke. Do they knock out or unscrew with a big allen key like the old Enfields. Thanks for all the replies re my computer hacking.
Hope to see you all soon at the North Weald venue. Will there be any runs over this side of Essex in the summer.

Regards Colin

you may need a special tool or a device made up to make things easier. The e lon & essex section has tools for loan, or, let the guys know you are coming with forks to pull apart. You'll go home a lot wiser and know how the job is done the easy way.
