Hi,
I've just acquired a 1955 18s in unrestored working condition although pretty tatty. I'm looking for any photos of a 1955 model showing what it should look like when new. I've looked on the ‘photos' page but there are several tank and badge designs. Any info would be appreciated, thanks

Try the sales cat. The badge is the plastic one with the thin outer ring, which seems to be the most difficult to get. So you may see a later badge with thicker outer ring. Note also 55, had a few changes that were 55 only. First and only with domes covers on fork nuts, first with matching full width wheels hubs, rear QD with metal pins in metals holes one year. First for SR1 mag. New frame.

Re: 18s Pictures
It was indeed Clive. I always have 350 on my mind. As it was a 350 I had when the new mag on the 350 was introduced, back in the 50's. It is often overlooked the 500 got it a year earlier.clive wrote:54 the first year for the SR1 mag on the model 18 and 18S, then also introduced on the 350 in 55. http://archives.jampot.dk/promotional/S ... ochure.pdfRob Harknett wrote:http://archives.jampot.dk/promotional/S ... ochure.pdf
