i've tried a 2ba screw [too big], a 4ba screw [too small] and every other small threaded screw i can find to hold my tank badges on, but to no avail. the nearest that i can find is a m2.5, which is pretty close to the right size, but obviously the wrong thread. any help greatly appreciated.
cheers, bb.

Why not buy the correct screws from the club then you'll get the correct size

Thats your choice, so you need to find 3BA raised countersunk screws (also known as oval) half inch long.

they are actually countersunk raised head to make it just that little bit more difficult to find.
I think I once got some from a jumble somewhere, can't remember where but I can remember the sellers unbounded joy when I only wanted four of them......

3 Ba, well thats hard enough to find, then you want them raised countersunk. more difficult and then you insist on stainless. When did you want to complete your bike?

er, november then i won't have to m.o.t it. the raised countersunk heads will be the same shape as the monobloc float chamber screws then? i've got loads of them in stainless, but unfortunately they are the wrong size. i'll give my mate at stig's fasteners an email and see if he can come up with some.
