hi all,

just about to reassemble forks on model 8, 1 1/8 teledraulics.

does the front brake anchor arm go on the studs on the slider before the mud gaurd or after, took it off so long ago i can't remember.

thanks for that, got the legs back in ok, using a puller made from instructions in last months jampot, worked a treat.

but the nearside fork seems to be about a 1/4 inch higher that the off side.

i have not yet filled with oil, nor put front wheel back on and put any weight on them.

is this normal? if not what sholud i be looking for?

false alarm, i double checked it and it's fine, i had assumed, incorrectly, that when i tightened the top nut it would pull the stancion home.

it hadn't. all sorted, relief.
